Pam Silvey is an established, formally trained makeup, hair and grooming artist based in Vancouver. Trained as an aesthetician at London School of Aesthetics, Pam worked for several years at a 5 Diamond property, learning how to work with clients and refining her skills. Wanting to broaden her abilities she attended Toronto’s highly regarded Complections, completing their accredited course in makeup, hair, wig making, prosthetics, and SPFX.

Always motivated throughout her career Pam has strived to improve her skills and gain education. This includes training to work in an ethnically diverse environment. She is confident in her abilities to work with every skin tone and hair texture that each individual project requires. She can create a full range of beautiful natural makeup and hair styles, as well as push the limits with body makeup, SPFX, tattoo coverage, and wig/facial hair application. Her extensive kit includes the tools and products necessary for any project.

Pam has collaborated with some of the most respected photographers and directors, working on behalf of clients to provide a high level of artistry. She has demonstrated her ability to adapt to the various formats in the industry including commercials, print, film and television, and documentaries. Pam has shown her ability to adapt to working in a full range of settings from large format studios to extreme outdoor marine and mountain environments.

Aside from hair and makeup, Pam’s strength is in making the actor or model feel at ease and confident. Relying on her training and experience, everyone is treated respectfully on set to ensure the best result. Pam continues to push the creative boundaries, be a team player, and keep smiling in a demanding and fast paced set environment. Pam is passionate, dedicated, hardworking with every new project and grateful to have a career that she loves.
